With the goal of moving its high-deliverability natural gas storage facility in St. Landry Parish, Louisiana forward to the next phase of development, Bobcat Gas Storage (Bobcat) recently added Tom Dill as CEO and Dave Bergquist as Vice President of Construction and Operations to its management team.
Tom has been in the mid-stream energy sector since receiving a BS in Engineering from the University of Missouri at Rolla in 1998. Prior to 1991 he served in various project engineering and business development roles in natural gas gathering and processing arena with Warren Petroleum, Natural Gas Enterprises and Tejas Power Corporation. From 1991 to date his experience has been exclusively in the marketing and development of underground natural gas storage with Tejas Power Corp., Market Hub Partners and Western Hub Properties, LLC. Prior to becoming CEO of Port Barre Investments and Bobcat Gas Storage in August of this year, Tom was President and CEO of Western Hub Properties which developed, constructed and operated the Lodi Gas Storage facility in northern California.
Dave has 15 years experience managing engineering and construction staff in the design, fabrication, and installation of various aspects of various underground gas storage projects, including: Moss Bluff Gas Storage, Egan Gas Storage and, Jefferson Island Gas Storage. Prior to joining the Bobcat team, Dave was Senior V.P. of Engineering, Construction and Operations for Lodi Gas Storage responsible for all regulatory, land acquisition, design, construction and operations of the Lodi facility.
Bobcat is being developed by Port Barre Investments, LLC. Port Barre Holdings, LLC and Port Barre Investments, LLC are owned by Haddington Energy Partners III LP, a private equity fund managed by Haddington Ventures, LLC.
